New Collaboration with the 7th Health Region

Clinical Decision Support System RxReasoner

31/03/2022: Ergobyte is happy to announce its collaboration with the 7th Health Region of Crete, one of the seven regional health authorities in Greece.

The informatics department of the 7th Health Region has developed an innovative Electronic Health Record, used by the biggest regional hospitals, namely the General Hospital of Chania "St. George", Rethymnon General Hospital, University General Hospital of Heraklion "PAGNI", General Hospital of Heraklion "Venizeleio & Pananio" and General Hospital of Agios Nikolaos. Physicians use the EHR system to keep track of their patients’ medical history and medication.

The 7th Health Region decided to incorporate our Clinical Decision Support System RxReasoner within their EHR. It will offer physicians and pharmacists advanced, robust functionalities in order to check the medications for drug-to-drug and drug-to-disease interactions.

The pilot phase of the project has been completed and RxReasoner is about to be used by the biggest hospitals of Crete by the end of April. The collaborating parties expect that the medical practitioners will make safer and faster decisions, thus improving the quality of their services.
